Lovely Lemon Easter Cake

This is a white cake with a heavenly lemony taste. I did this for a group that wanted a spring cake with an Easter feel. Decorated with lavendar (lemon flavoured)buttercream icing, and white swirled flowers.

Spring Is In The Air

I did some miniture cupcakes for a group of 36. So bright and vibrant like the recent weather here in Toronto.

1 cup cake flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
12 large egg whites, room temperature
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 1/4 cups sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract

My First Fondant Cake

I completed my first fondant cake tonight. I am so proud of myself when I think about where I started a couple of months ago, compared to where I am now. I also feel my photography has improved as well. (LOL)

Spring Decorating

No I haven't gone into hiding. I have been working on my new project. I am decorating mini cupcakes for a group of 36 people.

I live in Toronto, Canada. We have been blessed with some pretty warm weather last week... even thought it is still winter. So I have decided my theme will be titled "Spring is in the Air".

Here are some of the flowers I have created using royal icing.
